Helicopter Spins Uncontrollably into Palm Fronds at Well-Known California Coast
A helicopter flying above a popular coastal shoreline unexpectedly started spinning uncontrollably, eventually dropping height and smashing into a cluster of palm trees as spectators looked on.
Videos shared on social media show the helicopter commencing to spiral near the shoreline then plunging near the edge of the beach, where it ends up lodged among palm groves and a steps close to the Pacific Coast highway.
First Aid Details
The Huntington Beach fire department stated five people were taken to hospital involving two who were in the helicopter and were “rescued from the debris” after the crash on Saturday.
Three individuals on the road were hurt. Details on their condition were still under review.
The reason for the accident was not immediately released.
