News of her death was announced in a online announcement by the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum.
“Our beloved Tatiana passed away this morning. She will forever remain in our hearts.”

Within a published essay late last year, she disclosed that she had been diagnosed with a type of blood cancer with a uncommon variant.
