England news: Jarell Quansah ruled out
Jarell Quansah will be absent from England's World Cup qualifier against the Latvian side due to a physical issue and the player – who did not take part in the national team's 3-0 exhibition victory over Wales at Wembley – will return to his team the Bundesliga club.
He has been a mainstay in the team's defence this campaign but the national squad said no additional team additions were arranged for the qualification match in the Latvian capital on Tuesday.
England could secure a spot for the upcoming World Cup with two matches to spare if they defeat Latvia on Tuesday and outcomes elsewhere in their qualifying group go their way.
Preamble
It’s critical for Ireland, though their hopes of making it to North America may already be dead. A well-known face in the Portuguese star greets them, and Portugal are top of their group. At the venue, the Irish side confront a huge challenge.
Our other main focus will be reigning European champions the Spanish national team, who have triumphed in all their matches so far in Group E, against Georgia, who have not yet qualified for a major tournament and are aiming for the playoffs. Khvicha Kvaratskhelia has been a uncertainty and the Premier League club supporters will get a chance to see the Georgian goalkeeper.
